Cape Cod Real Estate Photography FAQ

Real Estate Photography on Cape Cod & the South Shore — FAQ

The most common questions agents, brokers, and homeowners ask before booking professional real estate photography on Cape Cod and the South Shore. If your question isn’t here, get in touch or book directly online.

How much does real estate photography cost on Cape Cod?

Pricing depends on the property’s size, the services you choose, and any additional production needs. You can book photography on its own or combine it with drone, floor plans, video, and 3D tours. Visit our pricing page and booking form for current options and property-size pricing.

What towns does Nauset Media serve?

Nauset Media is based in Centerville and serves Cape Cod and the South Shore of Massachusetts. Cape Cod coverage includes Bourne, Sandwich, Falmouth, Mashpee, Barnstable and its villages, Yarmouth, Dennis, Brewster, Harwich, Chatham, Orleans, Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro, and Provincetown. South Shore communities include Plymouth, Duxbury, Marshfield, Scituate, Cohasset, and Hingham. Enter your property address when booking, or contact us about travel arrangements and shoots outside these areas.

How quickly will I receive my listing media?

Photos, floor plans, and 3D tours are delivered the next business day. Video is delivered in 3–5 business days.

Do you offer drone photography and aerial video?

Yes. Nauset Media offers real estate drone photography and video to show a property’s setting, lot, nearby water, and surrounding landscape. Our drone operators are FAA Part 107-certified. Flights depend on weather, airspace restrictions, and any required authorization. Review the selected package for drone inclusions or add drone coverage when booking.

Do you offer Matterport and Zillow 3D Home tours?

Yes. We offer both Zillow 3D Home and Matterport tours, along with floor plan options. Zillow 3D Home provides a straightforward way to explore rooms and understand the layout. Matterport offers a more detailed immersive walkthrough. We can help you choose based on the property and how you plan to use the tour.

Do you photograph luxury and waterfront homes?

Yes. Our work includes waterfront estates, historic homes, contemporary architecture, and coastal cottages across Cape Cod. We bring the same attention to composition and editing to everyday listings. For a particularly high-end home, a luxury production can combine photography, drone, cinematic video, and other media suited to the property.

What is the difference between twilight photography and virtual twilight?

On-site twilight photography is captured around dusk, when the home’s lighting and the evening sky work together. Virtual twilight is created by editing a daytime exterior photograph to suggest an evening setting. These are different services; check the package description or ask us which approach fits your listing.

Why hire a professional real estate photographer?

Professional photography gives a listing a consistent presentation, with careful composition, balanced light, and editing that helps buyers understand the space. It also gives the agent polished material for listing marketing, social media, and future listing presentations. Strong media supports your marketing; it does not guarantee a sale price or time on market.

When should I schedule a real estate photo shoot?

Choose a shoot date when the property will be ready: surfaces cleared, beds made, rooms staged or decluttered, and exterior spaces tidy. Share your listing deadline and any important views, outdoor features, or lighting considerations when booking. We can help plan the session around the home and the services you need.

Do you offer virtual staging and seasonal edits?

Yes. We offer virtual staging for empty rooms and seasonal editing options. These are digital alterations, so ask about the appropriate presentation and disclosure for the listing platform you use. See our services or contact us about the specific images you want edited.

What’s included in a property website?

A property website brings the listing’s available media together in one shareable place. Depending on the selected service, it can present photographs, video, a 3D tour, a floor plan, and agent contact information. Review the current package description for included features and any custom website options.

Do I need to appear on camera for a social media video?

No. A listing reel can focus entirely on the property, with music and carefully edited footage. If you want to appear on camera, we can help plan short, natural segments that introduce a feature, tell the property’s story, or close the video. Choose the approach that suits your marketing style.
